Introducing New Tribal Health Social Advocate Ashley Gervais 
What are the primary duties of your new position? 
Linking Tribal Health recipients with community resources in the Mission, Arlee and Dixon areas. 
Where did you receive your education? 
I received my bachelor’s degree from Salish Kootenai College.

What is your prior experience relevant to your new position? 
Prior to my new position I assisted in conducting health related research within the CSKT Tribal communities. I’ve also secured funding as an entry-level grant writer to provide mentoring resources for local youth and families in the community.

Where are you from? 
I am a Blackfeet Tribal Member from Browning, Montana. 
Why did you choose a career in health? 
I chose a career in health to have the opportunity to serve patients in addition to working closely with health care providers to assist in streamlining the best care possible. 
What are you excited about in your new position? 
I’m excited to have the opportunity to positively impact the well-being of others. I look forward to meeting new colleagues and tribal health care recipients. 
What activities and/or hobbies do you pursue in your free time? 
I like to spend my free time with my family.
