Cases of positive COVID-19 cases continue to rise in the Tribal community, and the region. Please find the following information regarding Tribal Health COVID testing options.
COVID TESTING OPTIONS
Tribal Health COVID Testing Clinic is at the SKC Health Center in Pablo (in classroom off the main entrance).
Patients need to call the Tribal Health COVID Hotline at 406-849-5798 to schedule an appointment for COVID testing.
Limited quantities of home tests are available from Tribal Health Centers, while supplies last, and are being designated to patients who are identified as close contacts, or are symptomatic and not able to get into a testing clinic.
Patients are asked to self report a positive test to the COVID hotline at 406-849-5798 and a nurse will follow up with each patient.
Testing is recommended 5 days after last exposure or if symptoms develop for close contacts
AFTER HOURS TESTING
For those times when the Tribal Health testing clinic is not available and/or after hours, Tribal Health patients will be able to utilize testing with our outside partners.
People who are direct care eligible, Tribal Health will pay for those testing services through COVID funding.
Tribal Health will not pay for travel-related COVID testing. Walgreens in Polson (406-300-6042) is the nearest travel-testing approved facility.
- St. Luke’s (Ronan) will test patients with symptoms through Convenient Care on weekdays from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. or on weekends from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m., (406-676-3600).
- St. Joe’s (Polson) will test through their walk-in clinic via appointment only, 406-883-5680. Their hours are 8 a.m. - 7 p.m., seven days a week.
- Grant Creek Walk-in Clinic, 3075 N Reserve St, Suite Q, Missoula, MT 59808 phone (406-327-1850), 8:00 a.m. – 7:30 p.m., seven days a week. This location does rapid testing and only symptomatic patients.
Any Tribal Health eligible patient, 5+ years of age can receive a COVID vaccination.
The FDA has authorized Pfizer and Moderna as COVID booster vaccines for anyone 12+ years of age. Boosters are available 5 months after the initial series of both Pfizer and Moderna, and 2 months after Johnson and Johnson.
A 3rd dose of Pfizer is available for severely immune compromised 5-11 year olds, 28 days after 2nd dose.
Walk-in appointments are available at both Tribal Health Pharmacies, from 8-5:30 pm for all COVID vaccinations, including the COVID booster vaccinations.
Ronan Health Center holds a vaccination clinic every Wednesday for 5-17 year olds. Pre-register at mtreadyclinic.org (search words Tribal Health). Walk-ins also available on a limited basis.
