PABLO, MT -- The Confederated Salish and Kootenai Tribes will mirror the closures ordered Friday by Governor Steve Bullock of dine-in food service and alcoholic beverage businesses.

Tribal Council has already taken many actions to further reduce ricks to minimize the spread of the novel coronavirus. This action is taken to ensure that all businesses within the interior boundary of the Flathead Indian Reservation are under the same ban.

The Governor’s ban, and the tribal ban, will be in effect at 8 p.m. Friday.

On the Flathead Indian Reservation, some businesses are under the county and state jurisdiction, while others are under CSKT’s governmental jurisdiction. Under the Directive, the following places are closed to ingress, egress, use, and occupancy by members of the public:

The places subject to this Directive are permitted and encouraged to offer food and beverage using delivery service, window service, walk-up service, drive-through service, or drive-up service, and to use precautions in doing so to mitigate the potential transmission of COVID-19, including social distancing.

On par with the state of Montana, these closures expire at 11:59 p.m. on March 27, 2020. Please check for updates.
