Accessing veteran’s benefits can be overwhelming.

Today CSKT Tribal Health Veteran's Health Care Advocate John Wheeler can assist you. His job as a Veteran Health Care Advocate is to help you access and understand your VA benefits.

On August 28th, the U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs will be visiting the Flathead Reservation for an event called “Bringing VA Benefits Home.

This event will be taking place at St. Ignatius Tribal Health in the IT Training room on Wednesday August 28, 2019
from 7:00am to 5:30pm.

The host for the event will be Peter Vicaire, whom is a liaison for the U.S.  Department of Veterans in the Office of Tribal Government Relations. Peter assists 74 tribes in a 14-state region that includes Montana. This event is a great opportunity for our local veterans to become familiar with VA’s benefits. Veterans may seek assistance with starting a claim or obtaining status on an existing claim.
